The Right Type Of Massage For You

Body and Balance Massage Therapy Long Island Massage Therapist Nassau

If you need some relaxation in your life, come on down to Body N Balance Massage Therapy. We are located in Wantagh, Long Island and serve patients from all over the island. We have a wide variety of services we offer, so you are sure to find a treatment that is specialized just for you. Whether you want a massage or a facial, we have one that is right for you. If you want to heal the body and mind, we offer Reiki Healing which heals the mind, along with the body.

The most common type of massage is the Swedish Massage. We offer both 60 and 90 minutes sessions starting at $65. This type is very relaxing and is great to improve circulation in patients that experience chronic muscle pains. If you have tried this type before but want a more vigorous massage, you should try out our Deep Tissue Massage. We also offer 60 and 90 minute sessions for Deep Tissue, starting at $75. While it uses aspects of the Swedish, it differs in that it deeply penetrates the muscles in order to promote healing.

If you want to try something different, take some time to try the Hot Stone Massage. Hot stones are used to deeply penetrate muscles which assists in blood flow. It also helps in deep healing any muscle tension or soreness that our body may experience. Along with the hot stones, the massage therapist will use their hands and place stones on different areas on the body to promote healing in muscles. We offer 60 and 90 minute sessions starting at $85.

At Body N Balance we also offer more specialized massages. We offer a prenatal massage for women who are out of their 1st trimester of pregnancy. It is extremely soothing and relaxing and helps to relieve any pain or pressure that one may feel during pregnancy. Also we offer a sports massage that is specifically designed to help those who engage in strenuous activities or sports. This is a very vigorous form of massage and consists of deep tissue work. It also stretches to help heal and stretch muscles before or after a hard work out and gets your muscles ready for strenuous activity.
